I went on a dinner date last night with this guy who I thought was a real mensch.. When the bill came, I noticed that the waiter had accidentally given us the wrong bill–it was half the price it should have been.  Before I could say a word, my date paid the bill and put on his jacket to leave.

Let’s start by saying that there is nothing wrong with using coupons on a date. But, for whatever reason society has deemed it inappropriate when on a date. Here is what you need to do:
1. Be Calm
2. Once check arrives, hand the waiter/waitress your credit card
3. DO NOT give the waiter the coupon at this point!
4. See where the waiter is headed and tell your date that you need to use the restroom
