Turn the Cheap Stuff into Top Shelf

Turn the Cheap Stuff into Top Shelf

When the Schnorrer has guests over, he knows that there is no better way to impress them than with top shelf liquor.  A couple weeks before the gathering, the schnorrer walks into some local bars asking for empty bottles from the previous night, informing them that he provides the raw material for fertility clinics.  After the Schnorrer snags some top shelf bottles, the Kettle One, Patron, or Blue Label, he heads to the local liquor store to buy the bottom shelf versions of the the alcohol all-stars.   He then fills up the high-end bottles with the low end booze.

The Schnorrer knows that most drinkers do not know the difference between Kettle One and Seagrams, especially when mixed with juice.  Speaking of juice, the Schnorrer only buys the concentrate from the freezer section, as they are much cheaper.

Holy Cow…….I think you were inspired by my Dad. He would do this all the time when having people over. He kept refilling the same bottles over and over again with cheap crap, sometimes even filling the vodka bottle back to the top with water.
